"Cognitive Music Psychology" | The 35th Annual Conference in Eichstätt (2019)
The 35th annual conference of the German Society for Music Psychology will take place at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany from 6-8 September 2019. The key topic is "Cognitive Music Psychology", and the conference will investigate cognitive processes of listening to and performing music. In addition, we will explore new approaches in music psychology and cognitive neuroscience. The program will include keynote lectures by Lutz Jäncke (University of Zurich, Switzerland) and Victoria Williamson (University of Sheffield, England). They will focus on the memory of musical processes and various aspects of music processing in the human brain.
We are particularly asking for abstract submissions in relation to musical cognitive processes in various contexts, using different methodologies. As always, abstracts from other domains are also welcome. For further information about the conference, and how to submit an abstract or to register, please click here.
